  1. Definately capturing 'her' personality.

  2. Gorgeous lighting and this is great lighting for moody portraits. It seems the zone of sharpness on such a small subject is perhaps too close to the camera (the necklace?) and to me would be better on the line of her face and nose against the black background. That area feels a bit soft. But on such a small subject, focus is critical and difficult.

  3. A real glamour-puss and I like the profile very much. The lighting is perfect. Sgat

  5. Nice moody pose.
You must be using a wide aperture as yesterday her necklace was blurred and today it is in focus. She is such a small thing to work with :-)

  6. Very classy lady in this light. However I wish you had managed to have her face in focus instead of the necklace. But knowing how small she is you still did a good job of setting the mood right.

  7. Who would have ever thought there would be "real" plastic portraits that show emotion and personality???

  8. Awesome set of shots so far, very good use of dof and lighting to give professional glamour shot effects. Can't wait for her to start taking off her cloths :D

  9. Awesome lighting, and I really like the low-key feel. Very good choice of border too. I think even ava will approve.

I'd have like to see the focus a bit more to the back though, or perhaps even a wider DoF.

  10. I just absolutely love when you tell your trials and tribulations of shooting! Often with your remote in your mouth, and pretzel like antics... I have to say I often find myself in those positions, just usually don't tell anyone...hahaha...thanks for sharing :)
